Terms and Conditions

The Brisbane Philharmonic Association Inc. is the association which operates the Brisbane Philharmonic Orchestra.

Programme Changes

The Association endeavours to present all events as advertised.  However, it reserves the right to alter and change programmes, artists, content, etc. as it deems necessary.  Whilst utmost care is taken to ensure details are correct at the time of printing, circumstances beyond our control may necessitate changes.

Notifications

Changes to our programmes will be advertised on our website.  Ticket holders who purchased through 4MBS Classic FM will be notified in that organisation’s preferred manner in addition to the updates provided on our website.

Ticket Refunds

All transactions are final.  As is industry practice, there are no refunds available unless an event is permanently cancelled without rescheduling.

Ticket Exchange and/or Replacement

Ticket exchanges and replacements are available in some instances.

Tickets purchased through 4MBS Classic FM will be handled by that organisation.  Ticket purchasers may only exchange their tickets for other BPO performances where tickets are sold through 4MBS Classic FM.

Tickets purchased through the BPO for regional and special events may be exchanged for other tickets through the BPO for regional and special events only.

Lost tickets purchased through 4MBS Classic FM or the BPO may be replaced up to two days prior to the same performance only.  Please contact the organisation who you purchased your tickets from.

Outdoor Performances

Weather advice for outdoor performances is taken from the Bureau of Meteorology at 7:00am on the morning of the event.  In the event of increment weather, the BPO and its performance partners (if any) will make a decision about proceeding with the event.  The final decision will be advertised on our website by 9:00am on the morning of the event.

In most instances, the event will be postponed to another date.  Tickets purchased for the original performance will be valid on any rescheduled date.

There are no refunds unless the event is permanently cancelled without rescheduling.

Queensland Companion Card

Holders of a Queensland Companion Card, or other State and Territory equivalent cards, are entitled to one free admission for their nominated companion.  Venue accessibility details for each of our venues are published on our website.

Recording of Events

The unauthorised recording by any means at any event produced by the Brisbane Philharmonic Association Inc. is strictly forbidden.  If you wish to seek permission to record any of our events then please contact us.

Latecomers

The Association reserves the right to refuse admission to ticket holders who arrive late to events.  The ticket holder may not be allocated their designated seat until there is a convenient break in proceedings, if any, in the programme.  This may be between movements, pieces, at interval, or not at all depending on the event.
