Regional Student Mentoring

Ages 12 to 18

The BPO provides regional students between the ages of six and eighteen with opportunities to gain valuable musical experience from renowned teachers.

Our Regional Student Mentoring programme is a new educational initiative of the BPO which enables students who are disadvantaged by geographic location the chance to access educational opportunities not available in their area.

Seed funding for the project was received through an anonymous donation made in to the orchestra's public fund.  The BPO is now seeking further financial support from organisations and individuals so we may commence our broader implementation phase.
