The Brisbane Philharmonic Association Inc (ABN 12 092 897 904) is the association which operates the Brisbane Philharmonic Orchestra (BPO).

Program Changes

The Association endeavours to present all events as advertised.  However, it reserves the right to alter and change programs, artists, content, etc. as it deems necessary.  Whilst utmost care is taken to ensure details are correct at the time of printing, circumstances beyond our control may necessitate changes.

Notifications

Changes to our programs will be advertised on our website.  Ticket holders who purchased through third parties will be notified in that organisation’s preferred manner in addition to the updates provided on our website.

Ticket Refunds

All transactions are final.  As is industry practice, there are no refunds available unless an event is permanently cancelled without rescheduling.

Ticket Exchange and/or Replacement

Ticket exchanges and replacements are available in some instances.

Any exchanges or refunds of tickets purchased through third party ticketing providers (or venues) will be handled by the relevant provider, on its terms. 

Tickets purchased through the BPO for regional and special events may be exchanged for other tickets through the BPO for regional and special events only.

Queensland Companion Card

Holders of a Queensland Companion Card, or other State and Territory equivalent cards, are entitled to one free admission for their nominated companion.  Venue accessibility details for each of our venues are published on our website.

Privacy Policy

The Brisbane Philharmonic Association Inc, the association that operates the Brisbane Philharmonic Orchestra (BPO), respects the privacy of those that are involved with its activities.  Therefore, the Association has developed this policy in accordance with State and Commonwealth legislation.

The Association: Means the Brisbane Philharmonic Association Inc, operators of the Brisbane Philharmonic Orchestra

The Association employs a range of security measures and ensure information is held safely and confidentially in physical and/or electronic form.

While the Association endeavours to ensure that its security measures are completely secure, You are advised that there are risks with transmitting information physically and electronically and that We cannot guarantee breaches of security are completely avoidable.

The Association takes no responsibility for the security of information collected on its behalf by other parties such as ticketing agents, festival or concert producers, etc.  Similarly, the Association is not responsible for the privacy or security practices, or the content of any other party.

Access to Personal Information

If We do have Your personal information on file, You are able to request access to a copy of it.

You are able to apply to amend the information if You believe it to be incomplete, inaccurate, irrelevant, out of date, or misleading.

Any application to inspect or amend personal information held by the Association must be made in writing or through an electronic portal provided to do so.

Before any application to inspect or amend personal information is granted, the Association reserves the right to request You provide evidence of Your identity.  This includes the use of photographic identification or electronic identifiers such as personalised login names and confidential passwords.

Electronic Information

The Association operates numerous electronic media services that communicate personal information.  These include Our website, partner websites, email, social networking, etc.

Mailing Lists

The Association does not send unsolicited mail (spam) of any form.  If You receive any mail from Us then it is likely that You have requested it.  If You receive mail from Us that You have not requested then You are able to request that it no longer be sent to You.  If You receive mail from Us that You have requested, and no longer wish to receive such material, then You are able to request that it no longer be sent to You.
